Who We AreWe are Outdoorsmen. Outdoorsmen who were nearly killed by a tree stand because tree stand companies like Summit, owned by EBSCO, potentially cut safety corners to reduce costs. Those cuts nearly kill us in the process. They say as much as 1 in 3 hunters who use a tree stand will have a tree stand incident in their lives. Think for a moment if 1 in 3 cars crashed or 1 in 3 people died of food poisoning. Is that acceptable? Why is nearly 1 in 3 hunters almost dying or being seriously injured acceptable? Because climbing trees is inherently dangerous? So is child birth. Do we not learn more to keep moms safe and reduce mortality rates? As outdoorsmen we should stay loyal to our brands (many of us love Summit), but also expect more from them beyond just shipping a stand with a harness. Tell us your story and make tree stand companies innovate for our safety and not cut corners to reduce costs! Email us your story and with your permission we'll post it as publicly or privately as you chose. Let's create a movement as hunters!

Our HistoryIn November, 2014 I pulled a brand new Summit Viper out of the box. I mounted it to a tree an tested all cables to make sure they were secure according to the instructions. I attached the harness to a HSS Tree Strap and ascended a sturdy oak tree. At about 10 feet the cable on the top rail failed sending me off the left side of the stand and mangling my left knee. A year later, with a corrected ACL, MCL and Calf Muscle and a near death experience from a blood clot...it's time to bring more attention to the staggering statistics impacting hunters. With all the garbage on the internet, let's do something positive. Let's get the tree stand companies mobilized the innovate their designs for the average hunter with a focus on safety vs. profit margins.
